Blue planet over Mimas.
The dark lines are Saturn's ring shadows. The planet's northern hemisphere appears blue in winter (it's about the equivalent of mid-January, only much, much colder) because of light scattering (the same reason earth sunsets are red). Go here for the latest Saturn news. Posted by Hello
