Another cool idea ... literally
In another life, I could have been a space probe designer. Well, maybe not ... but I would have enjoyed going to Antarctica to watch the wind blow around something that looked like it came from The Prisoner.
I thought the airbag idea of landing on Mars was pretty nifty in '97.
I wish someone would hurry up and make the space elevator a reality. What an elegant way to get into space.
